Poem: I forgot to mention

I forgot to mention

many things today
but they
were not
important at all
and that
is why
I must have
forgotten.
I do not mean
that they
are not important,
they are
but they are not
urgent, I guess,
are not things
that I worry about
today or now,
or in any way
that is practical.
It is bigger
than that,
which is
important,
but when
the world
is happening,
that stuff
seems
less important,
but I know
one day
it will be
too late
to consider.
