Poem: I do not trust that this is best

I do not trust that this is best

It is, I can tell you, not
what I planned
or how I had imagined
things would be
and I cannot say
I am glad
or that it is good
or right,
but what
should I do?
I am saying nothing,
even if I think
there is a better way.
I am always afraid
in these moments.
