A Writer's Notebook, Two-Thousand-Two-Hundred-And-Sixty-Five

A good friend of mine called me tonight to ask if I was free.  He has been out of town for some time, so we haven't had a chance to get together.  Melissa was actually fine with me going out as she planned on getting to bed early, so that worked out well, and I was able to get straight to work on my writing soon as I got home, so I am not even going to be up much later than most recent  nights.
