Poem: You have hurt me

You have hurt me

by your approach,
have proven
that you can't be trusted,
that I can't believe
you mean well.
Your motives
have always been
your own,
have been there.
I was only
a prospect
and nothing more.
I do not like it.
You can't be trusted.
I am already wounded
just knowing
that your interest
was never anything,
never genuine,
was only seeking
more for yourself.
I do not know
if you understand.
It may be impossible
considering
the type of person
it is certain
you must be.
