Poem: I thought it would be a reason

I thought it would be a reason

that it would be required
for things to be shifted, again,
but it was not required
so I left things as they were,
because it would be work
to make the change.
I was not ready for that.
It was easier to do nothing,
or almost nothing,
just enough and no more.
I wish it had been necessary,
now I might remain stuck.
