Poem: They will come tomorrow and I must prepare for that

They will come tomorrow and I must prepare for that

It could have been done already
but I was distracted
and lazy, too.  I did not care,
did not want to do it.
I still do not want to
but I know there is a need,
and the time is gone
so I cannot wait.
I could let it slide
and leave it
to be done
by another.
I could do that.
I know that is possible
and it would be fine,
I think.  I would not be judged,
I don't think, or if I was
it would not be a judgement
that mattered at all.
Though that is not true
because I would know.
