Poem: Do You Wish That We Could Go

Do You Wish That We Could Go

right away and not wait
and, also, not return
at least all that soon?
I know this place
is not the same
and it was never
the way it is for me,
was not that for you,
whatever it might be,
it cannot be that.
It will all be left behind
when I am an exile.
I know there is not another home.
