Poem: That Is Not An Answer

That Is Not An Answer

There is an answer,
but it is not one I want.

I do not like it,
will not accept it,

so, it is not answer.
I refuse it, deny it,

I will not have it
as any kind of truth.

It cannot be the answer.
It must not be.

If it were to be the answer,
It is far worse, is disastrous bad

and has no chance to be set right.
Alas, that does not change it.
