Poem: One Will Not Bend And The Other Will Not Straight

One Will Not Bend And The Other Will Not Straighten

and they are jammed together, must fit, must be made
so they fit together.  But neither is going to shift
and something will break, it will be broken,
destroyed, ruined.  It won't be possible
for it to be fixed and made better.
One has to bend, or the other has to straighten
but that is not going to happen.
And don't think they can be separated
as if that is a clever answer
because it's been considered
and would be no good, either.
