Poem: That Is Not A Way I Wish to Go

That Is Not A Way I Wish to Go

Is not one I think of
when I consider the paths
that I would like to follow.
I do not mean that, not quite that.
It is not a path I want to take now,
is not the place I wish to go first.
I have other destinations
that matter more.  If I arrive there
it will not be any good,
not if it is first.  There is an order,
a proper way.  For me, that is.
I do not know if it is true for others,
but I have a sense of what is important
and what must come first.
I find that has a significance for me.
