Poem: You Speak of Finding A Solution

You Speak of Finding A Solution

"Determine what must be done
and what it will take
to do it.  Whatever it takes,"
you tell me.  I do not know
if you understand.
Your idea of a solution
does not match
my definition
of the problem.
I do not know
how to explain it.
You want to solve
a different problem
with a solution
that only worsens
what troubles me most.
The real issue
won't be corrected,
not in that way.
There may be
no way to fix it.
I don't want
to pretend.
I want you
to understand
what is wrong
to me.
