Poem: Those Same Mistakes

Those Same Mistakes

I was hesitant
to commit
in the first place,
did not want to,
not when I knew
it would cost me
if things went awry.
I had doubts,
but I trusted,
expected it to be fine,
this time.  I trusted them.
I do not know why
I believed
it could go
another way.
I should learn.
It wouldn't be better
but I wouldn't
make it worse.
