Poem: The Equation Must Balance

The Equation Must Balance

What goes in here
must come out
on the other side,
or it isn't right.
That is all
I want to explain,
that it can't be solved,
can't be called a solution,
if it won't balance.
If what is put in
will never come back,
will never be there
on the other side,
that is no good.
It is not a way
to make it right,
is not a solution.
I do not know
what to call it,
but it can never be
a solution.
