Poem: Let A Different Story Be Told Tomorrow

Let A Different Story Be Told Tomorrow

Today was just another
in the same line.  Nothing happens,
nothing but the same things
that were not good
when they first happened.
Why not tomorrow?
Why not let it be different
and let it get better?
I don't know what to say.
I do not know who I am asking.
It is not me writing all of this,
it is not my story.  I don't write the world.
Who's story is it?  And can it be different?
It keeps returning.  Let it go forward.
It is always good to have progress/
In any story, there should be progress.
