Poem: Unexpected Storm

Unexpected Storm

This seemed a massive ship,
but to the ocean, even this
is nothing great, can be
flitted about like nothing
in such stormy waters
as we have found ourselves
passing through.  We may
be swallowed up, pulled
deep into the dark world
beneath the surface.
We took this journey,
thought ourselves ready
for what we might find,
but we did not know
what to prepare for.
Only one who has taken
the journey already
would imagine
what might come.
