Poem: Another Night Without You

Another Night Without You

I do not sleep so well
without you beside
me.  This week,
I have been awake
for the dawn most
mornings, have been
awake well past
midnight, have not
had real rest, instead
turning towards
the empty space
where I wish
you were once more.
