Poem: It was a mistake because we trusted you

It was a mistake because we trusted you

would allow things to go well,
and you do not care
about what we need or want.
It is clear.  You make it clear
each time.  I don't want to be here,
and I don't want to deal with these things.
I do not even know what to do.
The solutions are just more of the problem.
This is what you created.
It was supposed to be a chance,
was supposed to be the starting point
for building a life for us,
but it has turned to regret.
We trusted you.
I am certain you still believe
that we can and should.
