Poem: It will be a journey of many hours and we will be tired

It will be a journey of many hours and we will be tired

It will tire us.
It will not be pleasant,
I do not expect that.
I should be prepared
for it to be that way.
I am aware enough.
I do not think
it makes much difference:
I want to leave
and I want to arrive,
the hours between
I could do without.
