Poem: I Did Not Ask

I Did Not Ask

though I would,
most times
I would ask,
but I did not,
not this time.
It was not
different,
I had no
reason,
I just did not.
I do not know
why I do ask,
why it is
I want to ask,
want your say,
why would I know
the reason better
when I do not ask?
