Poem: I do not know

I do not know

or maybe I do know
and I cannot remember
or I did know, is maybe
more accurate, but
I do not know
if I did or not,
and I can't say
that if I knew
I knew everything
or just some of it
or all of it
or if what I knew
was even the truth
or just lies or half-lies
or, maybe, enough
that was true
to be misleading.
Or, maybe that is just
what I am telling myself.
It is all quite
confusing, really,
and I am not sure
I even want
to get it clear.
