Poem: I did not think of all of that

I did not think of all of that

They are good questions,
are the right things
to be considering
and I wonder
why I wouldn't
think of it myself,
but I know
you are often
the wiser one,
and I trust
or just want
or act,
like stepping
on ice
before
checking
it is too thin.
