Poem: Why not

Why not

It is easy to say
that often it is fear
or the unease I feel,
the uncertainty
in myself, in my capacity
to get it right
or get close to it,
and discomfort
with it being wrong,
which may be the bigger
dilemma.  If I could let myself
do it wrong, just accept it
as inevitable,
that could be enough.
