Poem: I can explain the problems

I can explain the problems

but you
will not hear,
will not be able
to listen,
will not allow it,
not really.
You will explain
that it means nothing,
that it is not true
or irrelevant.
The only criteria
for what is right
and what is wrong
are the ones
that endorse you
doing just as you wish.
And yes, of course:
you may do
what you want,
just, please, don't pretend
it is intended
to be fair
or reasonable.
