Poem: I am concerned about her

I am concerned about her

but what can I do
besides worry
and hope she gets better
or, if that can't be,
lets us help, lets us know
the truth, at least.
You tell me
there is nothing
we can do,
that she won't let us,
and all I think
is what our father would say
if we told him
why we had failed
to do anything
for her.
