Poem: Anyway, I am here

Anyway, I am here

I almost
made a different
choice than this,
but I did not,
and I don't say that
as if it is good
or better,
though I do think
it is the better choice.
I say it because
it is what I know
about why
I am here right now,
and I cannot think
what else there is,
what is worth
hearing or knowing,
what it is possible
to tell you
that might matter.
I don't know,
but I think, maybe,
that is still enough.
