Poem: A decision must be made

A decision must be made

There is a need
for it to be done.
You know that,
and I know it, too.
It is not anything
but the plain truth,
the obvious thing.
Still, you won't,
and I can't,
and so
nothing happens.
It is your choice,
and if I say anything
it will be a mistake,
but it must be done
and you won't decide.
I can do nothing
but wait and watch.
