Poem: I Said It

I Said It

I had not expected to
but I did,
and that is fine,
I think, or good
even if it is not
fine, even if
it is a problem
or a difficulty
or has caused
an upset.
I can call it good,
can say it was honest
and needed.
I can say those things.
I wonder if I am saying them
because I mean them
or because I need to
feel right about this.
