Poem: Remember who

Remember who

will be named,
who it will be
that must stand
in the shadow
of these acts.
You think
that is why
it must be done,
but it is the reason
to stop, to not,
to stand
for what
we wish to be,
for who we want
the world to know.
Consider each misdeeds
a scar the coming generations
must all wear.
