Poem: I did not say anything

I did not say anything

though what I noticed
troubles me.  I am uncertain
and it might be best
to just stay out of these things.
I can't be certain
I even understand
and just asking
feels inflammatory.
I suppose it doesn't matter.
I am not involved,
am just an observer,
an outsider.
It is why I hesitate.
I do not even know
if what I notice
is what actually exists.
