Poem: It is not so simple as you think

It is not so simple as you think

even if it is
the only option,
this solution
is not easy
or guaranteed.
It took effort
and preparation,
I am not certain
what will come
of repetition.
I do not trust that.
It is all we can do,
I know that is true,
but it is still no good.
I understand
it is the only way.
I wish you understood
the nature of my difficulty.
If my perspective were clear
you would recognize the need
for a different solution
despite the impossibility
of any alternative.
