Poem: A Desire

A Desire

I do not know
if that would be fine
or if it would be upsetting,
but it is still a want I have
and I think of fulfilling it.
It should not scare me
to mention it, to discuss
the possibility.  It should be fine.
I am hesitant, though.
I do not know how
to even raise the subject
without it feeling awkward.
There must be a way, though.
It would be better if I did
than to do something in secret.
