Poem: I Do Not Know Why I Have Hesitated

I Do Not Know Why I Have Hesitated

Or not why I did at first.
I know it is entropy, now,
is that first hesitancy extending itself.
It is my habit, now.  I am stopped,
to start again requires more effort
than if I had acted in the first place.
Also, I worry I will be judged
for taking so long.  It may go unnoticed
if I am merely absent
and do nothing,
but if it is done now
after all this time,
that will not go ignored.
