Poem: Descriptor

Descriptor

You would choose that,
would think that,
would believe it
even a bit accurate?
It must be explained,
why and how
and where
did it come from?
You said it
and I wonder why
it is a thing
you would say,
a belief
you would hold,
or was it just words?
That is, I think,
worse, though
none of it
is all that good,
suggests a rift,
a misunderstanding,
something I think
it will be impossible
to remove
from between us.
