Poem: I Still Need to Do It

I Still Need to Do It

but it is too late
to do it
when it must be done
because that time
has already passed
and I don't know
if late is good
or if now
it is impossible
to do it
in a way
that is not the same
as never having done it,
so I haven't.
I know I should,
but it is easier
to keep forgetting
and not find out
the consequences.
It is so much easier,
you can't deal
with the consequences
if you do not know them.
