Poem: You Say It Is A Good Thing

You Say It Is A Good Thing

that it is a solution, is helping me,
but you do not understand
that all you are offering
is to alleviate a symptom
while promoting the disease.
I have no other choice
but to accept, I suppose,
but I know:
this will make it worse.
Do you understand
how much worse
it will become?
I do not have
any other way.
It has gone too wrong.
I need a way
to make it better.
What you offer
is the only choice,
but it will make it worse.
