Poem: They Left

They Left

and did not say
and I was there
all alone
in that house
and I didn't know
they were gone.
They didn't think
to tell me.
It was easy for them
to just go
and leave me behind
without a thought.
I wish I would learn.
I wish I didn't care any longer.
It is no good.
