Poem: Aftermath

Aftermath

It can't be made right
and it cannot be alright
that it is this way
and I cannot accept it,
cannot move on
while it is still the truth,
is still the way things are,
I cannot be alright
and you caused this,
it is not good at all
and is worse each day
and it was a choice,
it is what you chose.
Tell me what you will do,
tell me you will make it better,
will make it so it is not this way,
so it is as it was, once,
before you chose
this destruction.
I am not well.
It is worse each day.
