Poem: You Have, But I Have Not

You Have, But I Have Not

I have made efforts.
It is not nothing that is done,
but you have done more,
have done as much as there was,
done it all, long before this.
I wish I were so diligent,
or is it not diligence?
There is a struggle,
a difficulty beneath.
It is not only not doing,
but not being able to do,
not finding the way to do it,
not knowing what to do
and what is too much,
what will help.
There might be harm.
If it is done wrong,
there could be harm.
