Poem: I Do Not Need to Be Told, Again, Just to Do The Things I Can Do

I Do Not Need to Be Told, Again, Just to Do The Things I Can Do

I am already doing them.  It is what I can do.
I am not seeking to be told
to what I can for myself,
to focus on those things,
to make my goals things
that do not involve results
but just doing what I can do,
what I can choose for myself.
Those are the things I am doing.
I am stuck and the blockage is not inside,
is not that I am not taking action,
is not that I am stagnant.
Maybe that is so for others:
I do what I can, what I must.
Each day.  It is always being done.
What I need, what I am here for,
came to you for, what I have expected,
is real help on how to progress.
Do not tell me to do what I can
when I am doing it already,
when it has never worked
except as a form of madness.
