Poem: Those Wants And Needs

Those Wants And Needs

cannot be fulfilled,
not any longer:
I see no way
to repair,
to return
to the path,
do not know
what to do,
what could be done.
You did not need to do this,
you knew, were told,
but you chose this path,
and now you claim regret,
but what will you do?
I do not know what can be done,
but that does not change
that you must do something
if you expect me to believe
you care.
