Poem: Too Many Times

Too Many Times

I give to you
the time
that should be mine,

I let you take it,
disrupt days,
unmake plans

because I think
you will be glad,
will appreciate the effort,

but it is clear
you do not see that,
it is only expected,

and still I continue. I must learn,
must stop, must make you notice
what is missing.
