Poem: Has It Changed

Has It Changed

What was wrong
always seemed
the worst suffering,

but it was not,
not here.
It was less,

though we felt harm,
it was less.
We did not see.

We should have,
but we looked only
at the walls around us,

while others lacked
what we never noticed
we had in abundance.
