Poetry: A Different Thought

A Different Thought

The idea made little sense,
not as an idea
but as an idea I was having,
was nothing I knew about,
not enough to have such ideas,
not me, no.  It was not for me,
no, it would be a mistake,
an impossibility,
but I thought it,
I know, I was there
when it shuffled into view
inside my mind,
so I am going to see
what it is I have found,
though it may be a mistaken,
I cannot convince myself
it is not what I must do.
