Poem: The Way It Has Been Is Not Alright

The Way It Has Been Is Not Alright

If it is does not change,
I will not be well.
I am not well now,
and it has not changed.
I do not know
how to heal this,
not while it goes on,
while it is still true.
If it does not change,
and I do not know
that it will change
or how to change it,
if it does not change,
if it does not,
I will not be better.
Maybe that is a choice,
maybe I have no other.
