Poem: From Those Dreams

From Those Dreams

It was almost the same,
that moment today,
it was almost identical
to a fragment I recall
of the nightmares I had,
the ones I mentioned
when I asked you
not to do
what you have done,

and today a moment
of  nightmare returned to me
as a bit of my life,

and I think you can see
why I might think
you are responsible,
why it might be imortant
you understand
you did this.
