Poem: You Think I Brought It

You Think I Brought It

when I went there,
but I had it secured
in another place:
I am not so careless,
make certain to keep safe
what is mine to care for,
but I have brought it
now, with me, here,
have brought it,
though it is not safe
to carry it, to bring
what is essential
into the way of harm,
for you, I have it here,
because it is for you.
