Poem: Uncertain Future

Uncertain Future

I do not know
if I will hear from you
tomorrow.  It was
confusing, was I invited
to breakfast, or did you
only mention it to me
for no reason?  I think
someone suggested I could go,
but there was hesitancy,
as well.  I do not know,
will have to wait and see,
though I might be better
considering why it is
I want to be invited,
to join you at all.
