Poem: The One Who Was Hurt

The One Who Was Hurt

came to us, said he was
in pain, said he was mad.
We were not pleased,
told him he had wounded
us with his pain, he was
not fair to say that, not
fair to tell us we had hurt
him, that was not our intent,
if he was hurt by our actions,
he should know better than
to make us feel bad about that.
