Poem: I Do Not Know Why It Is

I Do Not Know Why It Is

that whenever I say a thing
which I am upset by
or tell how I have been hurt,
even if it is not to do
with you, even if
you know nothing
of what I am saying,
have not met the people,
do not understand
the issues, still,
you must make it clear
I am wrong in my response,
you do not agree,
must make it clear
that whenever I feel
wounded, it is because
I am unreasonable.
