A Writer's Notebook, Day Two-Hundred-And-Thirteen

I've had a rather slow and unproductive day.  I did write a new poem, but I think it is just a bit of wheel spinning.  It is in the direction of a thing I want to get down on paper, but it is not really there yet.

I think that it is worth acknowledging that I've been feeling rather down, between the anniversary of Dad's death and the rejection letter, not to mention Melissa being sick last week, and a few other things that have been happening.  It is a bit draining, and I am glad I've been keeping up working through it all, but I want to get to some more positive energy.  Anyhow, I am going to keep this short and try getting to bed early tonight, I am pretty exhausted, honestly, as I only got to sleep at around five last night.
